The Blue Bubble Alliance is made up of 16 Taxi Companies throughout New Zealand. We operate around 2,000 Taxis under the Blue Bubble Logo and have around 3,000 drivers.

Our Drivers
Our drivers are the heart of our taxi companies. Blue Bubble drivers are committed to going that extra mile for your comfort and satisfaction. We understand that taxi drivers need to be completely trustworthy, as they are often carrying vulnerable passengers.
We follow a thorough vetting process when employing drivers that includes an extensive, independent “fit and proper” person check completed by the New Zealand Transport Agency in conjunction with the Police. All Blue Bubble drivers are required to gain an Area Knowledge Certificate and must pass an English Language test. All Blue Bubble drivers receive on-going training to maintain these standards, as well as keep log books and all vehicles have a, superior, Certificate of Fitness (COF).

Cars
We have the largest network of taxis across the country with a fleet of over 2,000, white, late model cars. We aim to provide our passengers with the best service and the best cars, while remaining committed to reducing our environmental impact. As part of our environment policy, from 2008 we have been phasing out petrol only cars. Our aim is that our entire fleet will consist of more fuel efficient vehicles.
Vans
As part of our commitment to providing an excellent service, we have a range of vans available for hire. This provides you with the choice to easily transport a larger number of people. To ensure a van is available for you in your local area, please book in advance. Call your local taxi company to arrange this service.
